Recently, the rehabilitation and resurfacing of Euclid Street from Slater Avenue to Warner Avenue was completed. The $1,077,000 SB-1 funded project improved an array of public areas for motorists and pedestrians by modernizing aesthetics, functionality, and safety. Upgrades for this project consisted of removing and replacing driveway approaches, bus stop pads, select curbs and gutters, and reconstruction of ADA approved pedestrian ramps. Over 2,400 tons of new asphalt pavement was placed to improve both directions along the roadway. In addition, the medians have been upgraded with new concrete, irrigation, and new landscaping to enhance the well-travelled corridors.
