On 05/16/20, FVPD Officers responded to Motel-6, located on the 9100 Block of Recreation Circle, regarding a robbery, which had just occurred. Upon officers’ arrival, the victim explained that an acquaintance, Cedric Williams, a 24-year-old resident of Fountain Valley, arrived at the motel to meet him. Williams demanded money from the victim and forcibly removed $2,000.00 from the victim’s pants pocket. A struggle ensued and Williams began punching and kicking the victim several times before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. FVPD Detectives were notified and, on 05/18/20, Detectives located Williams in the City of Newport Beach. FVPD Detectives arrested Williams without incident. Williams was booked into the Orange County Jail for robbery. DR# 20-15397
