Southern California Edison (SCE) will be replacing their deteriorated vault that is located at the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Edinger Avenue. SCE will notify residents in the adjacent residential quadrants of any upcoming power outages that will be needed to facilitate completion of the work.Construction is anticipated to begin January 6, 2025, and is tentatively scheduled to be complete by the end of February 2025.Due to traffic control, expect heavy delays when traveling Southbound on Brookhurst Street, between McFadden Avenue and Edinger Avenue, and Westbound on Edinger Avenue, between Ward Street and Brookhurst Street. Detour signs and message boards will be posted for the duration of the work.
