In the early hours of Thursday morning on December 5, 2024, City of Fountain Valley Public Works Crews were made aware of a waterline break in the City of Fountain Valley Metropolitan Water District (MWD) Connection on Magnolia Street between Hazard Avenue and Westminster Blvd in the City of Westminster.Permanent traffic control will be put in place as the City works in conjunction with the impacted agencies to repair the main break and restore the street.It should be noted that the current impact to the Fountain Valley MWD Waterline Connection does not currently affect the City’s ability to distribute water to the residents of and businesses in Fountain Valley.Additional information may be released as this issue develops.
